My name is Caio; it sounds just like Kyle. I am a 23 years old Italian Brazilian currently majoring Computer Information Systems at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. I also have an Information Technology technician degree from the Federal Centres for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca of Rio de Janeiro.
Regarding Information Technology, besides the cool cybernetic aesthetics, the subjects that interest me ranges from Python, Django and design patterns to digital humanities: computer ethics, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, user experience and interface, web accessibility.
As for the rest... Most my greatest pleasures lies within the Music and Literature fields. In fact, the vast majority of my blog entries are dedicated to both these themes. Although less intensely, photography, cinema and philosophy are also appreciated. Finally, my last hobby comprises linguistics and the study of languages—namely Icelandic, English, Spanish, Venetian, Swedish, Italian and my native Portuguese.
Three pets provide me the grace of their companionship: the winged boombox, normal grey cockatiel Juju; a light blue parakeet called Blur, the white noise generator; a small black dog, not much different from a portable Umbreon, named after the Latin writer Gaius Petronius.
